A kit to create your own naturally dyed wool using the solar dyeing method. It contains four pre-mordanted (with alum sulphate) mini 10g skeins of pure dk wool, full colour instructions on how to solar dye, a sachet of alder cones, a sachet of dried weld and a free packet of marigold seeds!

This is ideal for all ages but especially children who can set it up, monitor it and enjoy using the dyed mini skeins.

The only thing you’ll need is clean empty jam or sauce jars, fresh plant material (a list of plant suggestions easily found in the U.K. is given) and sunshine!
